Pushing boundaries of 3D interactivity in an artist’s personal website, all for the sake of fun
Project description
Personal website for CHEVEZ, an artist based in Poland. His art is all about fun and exploitation of the semantics so he needed a website to reflect that.
My role
I designed an built an anti-boring website with the help of using latest technologies like Framer and Spline. From sketch to 3D modelling and development, this was a 1-man-venture.
Challenge
We needed artistic expression that pushsed boundaries of what's possible with no-code tools. Due to lack of marketing budget, we aimed to get as much press release as possible thanks to the innovative approach.
Solution
I designed a thought-provoking interactive experience hard to ignore. Chevez's paintings, drawings, objects were digitalized and set in abstract environment where users would break them with their cursors. We got featured by Awwwards and Spline which generated a traffic of 10,000 people / month and the artist received multiple commision requests.
